§ 03
Real estate and property
Buying, selling and letting homes and commercial premises, including purchases by buyers who live abroad.
A property purchase is the largest contract most people sign. We read it as if it were ours, and we tell you plainly what we found.
A large share of our clients buy from abroad. We run the whole purchase remotely, in their language, and arrange signatures before a notary or consulate where they live.
What we take on
- Residential purchases and sales
- Purchases by non-resident buyers
- Commercial leases
- Landlord and tenant matters
- Title and boundary questions
- Property held through a company
How the work runs
Instruction
We confirm the property, the price and the timetable, and run the identity and source-of-funds checks the law requires.
Searches and title
We order the searches, read the title and the contract, and send you a report with anything that needs a decision.
Exchange and completion
We agree the dates, hold and transfer the funds and complete the purchase or sale.
Registration
We pay any tax due on the purchase and register you as the new owner.
How it is charged
Fixed fee
A fixed fee on a scale by property value, quoted before you instruct us. Searches and registration fees are listed separately.
Questions clients ask
Can I buy without travelling?
In most cases, yes. Documents can be signed abroad before a notary or a consulate; we tell you which ones and how.
How long does a purchase usually take?
It depends on the chain and the searches. We give you a realistic timetable at the start and update it every week.
