§ 06
Private client
Wills, estates and powers of attorney, for families whose assets or members live in more than one country.
Families now live, work and own property in several countries at once. A will written for one country can fail in another. We plan for all of them together.
Our work is quiet and patient: we explain each choice, give families time to decide and keep documents up to date as lives change.
What we take on
- Wills, including wills for assets abroad
- Estates and probate
- Lasting powers of attorney
- Trusts for family members
- Gifts and succession planning
How the work runs
Family meeting
We meet you, alone or with the family, and write down what you own, where and what you want to happen.
Draft
A draft with a plain-language summary. Nothing is signed until every part of it is clear to you.
Signing and storage
We supervise the signing and keep the original safe, with a copy for you.
How it is charged
Fixed fee
Fixed fees for wills and powers of attorney; estates are quoted after a first review of what the estate holds.
Questions clients ask
Do I need a separate will for property abroad?
Sometimes. It depends on the countries involved; we look at the whole picture and tell you if one will is enough.
Can relatives abroad take part in the meeting?
Yes, by video, and in their language.
